Keep the mess off the floor, protect the table from paint, and keep sticky things off the carpet with these amazing mats.

The Messmatz are made with non-toxic, food grade silicone; so its completely safe. The mat is flexible and has raised edges to keep spills and messes confined. It’s seriously perfect – why haven’t more people thought of this?!!

I love how large the mat is. I was expecting it to be the size of a placemat, but it is much larger. At 24 x 18 inches, this mat covers all the space you need it to. Feel Better with Sunny Bay

Thanks to Sunny Bay, a BioMed Design, I am able to get my body back to where I want it to be with some heat and cold treatment options. Here are my top favourite products I relay on from Sunny Bay. A friend of mine was also suffering from aches, so she took it upon herself to look into something like chiropractor kidderminster, to get the help she was looking for. As she also has kids, she thought this would be in her and her children’s best interests, especially when it comes to doing activities with them. Reuasable Hot & Cold Wrap

This reusable wrap is able to be used again and again, and best of all you can use it hot or cold! It is so convenient to have one product that can both heat and cool your sore muscles. There are no cords getting in the way, allowing you to move and get around your home or job without keeping you stuck on a chair with an extension cord.

The long straps make it so that if your plus sized or petite, odds are it will fit!

This Hot & Cold Wrap has a removable, machine washable cover – so you can keep it clean easily.

When you freeze it (takes 1-3 hours to freeze), it stays soft! This is such a wonderful feature as you can mold it to the area which you are applying it for maximum efficiency.

When microwaving it is suggested to start at 1 min then then add 10 second intervals to the timer until it reaches the desired temperature. I like mine hot and sometimes let it go for 2 minutes. It may not feel warm enough on your hand right away, but I suggest moving around the inside parts and then placing it on the area you were going to warm, and it will feel hotter than you expected.

This product is ideal for: back, shoulders, legs, arms and knees

Extra Long Neck Heat Wrap

This ergonomic design makes for the most soothing heat wrap I have ever used on my neck. I love I can walk around my home in the evenings, letting it set softly around my neck and shoulders, giving me some warmth while also soothing my muscles. It also relaxes my overall attitude as well.

This is a great product for people who don’t like the standard “u” shaped neck wrap, as its loose and can form to your neck as you like. If you have a smaller or thicker neck, then this is the wrap you want!

I love to warm this product in the microwave for 1 minute. I remove, mix around the inside contents, and place back in the microwave for 1 more minute. It stays warm for over an hour, making it perfect for when you sit down to read a book or watch some TV.

You can also use this product cold, by freezing it in the freezer for 1 hour. This product is not machine washable, so be sure to only spot clean as needed with a damp cloth.

Neck Heating Wrap

This neck wrap is perfect for this old evenings you need crave some warmth. It is great for wearing around the home, office or in the car, as its easy to put on and take off. You can microwave it for just 1 minute and it will be a perfect warmth. If you want it warmer only heat it in 10 second increments to avoid it burning or getting too hot.

This can also be used cold, just place in the freezer for at least 60 minutes for it to cool down for you.

The cover retains heat, as it is made of fleece – which also makes it machine washable. Always remove the inside component before washing.

This classic style neck wrap is going to be the perfect solution for your neck pain relief.

Pain Relief Heat Pads

If you are on the go and need real pain relief, then you can count on these Heat Pads! They are self-adhesive (stick to clothing – NOT to your skin as they will get hot) and disposable. The heat lasts for 12 hours, making this the ideal product for those how work in the cold.

I put one of these pads on in the evening and it stayed very warm, almost hot for around 5 hours. I went to bed and in the morning the pad was still a tiny bit warm! I was so impressed at the true length of heat these provide.

The pads get up to 113 degrees, so be sure to only apply to your clothing.

They are activated by being exposed to the air, no breaking pods or monkeying around. Just apply to the area and within 20 minutes it will be toasty and perfect. If you are going to wear a sweater and want it to be more effective I would recommend wearing a tight fitting tee or undershirt to apply the pad to. This way it will stay closer to your skin and help the effected area.

The pads come in average square size or more rectangular shaped/larger size – so if you just need a little warmth or a larger area, Sunny Bay has you covered.

There is something beautiful about minimalist design that catches your eye and draws you near. Simplicity lets your mind wonder and create like it was designed to do. I truly believe the same rings true for children’s toys. Young minds that are making daily discoveries and forming new ideas are drawn to opportunities to create. For my daughter, I was searching for a timeless simple rag doll that could be loved for many years. My hope was to find a doll that inspired play while doubling as decor in her vintage eclectic room. I was soon delighted to find an old friend from China opening her very own doll shop Topknot Twirl.

Lauren, the creator of Topknot Twirl, is a kindred spirit that brings out the beauty in the simple. She began making dolls as a traditional birthday gift for her daughters and soon expanded into making dolls for their play group. I loved there was a variety of choices to make a unique custom doll, yet I wasn’t overwhelmed. Picking a doll to match my daughter’s look was simple. My daughter snuggled into the soft flexible fabric. She was able to easily carry her lightweight doll around with its slim graspable limbs.

Her doll was clothed in a miniature twirl dress with a fashionable criss cross back. We loved the skirt was removable for dressing and undressing.

I ordered her doll with double high buns and side sleek bangs, but was excited to find out her hair could be styled.

I enjoyed giving her similar pigtail braids I use to rock as a child. The joy about felt doll hair is low maintenance. No tangled rat nests or balding, just simple easy to manage felt strips.

 

Lauren continues to work hard in making innovations to her dolls and and meeting the needs of her customers. Since the time she has opened she has already added three new additions to her Etsy shop.

And my favorite, custom boy dolls! Let those little boys join in on the role playing and have their own boy doll. After seeing my son nurture my daughter’s baby dolls, I think he would love having a doll that he can relate to.

Harlem Globetrotters – Coming to a Town Near You!

Give the gift of a priceless memory with tickets to a Harlem Globe Trotters show

MamatheFox and her family went to see the Harlem Globetrotters when they came to Cleveland, Ohio this past December. It was a show my kids and I will never forget. The team features hilarious tricks, amazing skill shots, pranks and more. Each minute of this game is exciting and will keep the attention of small children alike. My 3.5 and 5 year old loved it, however my 5 year old was able to pay attention to it much better than her younger brother. He has a hard time paying attention up in the stands. I feel if I went to a show again I would buy closer seats so that he would be more engaged.

 

The team, which has been around for many years (my husband went to a game as a child  –  so you know they have been around a while hahaha!), and now are featuring women players! My daughter was thrilled to see a women on the court, doing all the cool tricks and shooting hoops with the men. The Harlem Globetrotters are now training a few women to join them on the court. Showing girls that they too can become amazing basketball players just like a man.

 

During half time and in the beginning of the show during the warm-up period, they featured a local Ohio organizations for children. For the National Anthem, the choose an organization that works with children with disabilities, including the deaf. Each of the kids signed the National Anthem, which was moving and fun.  For the pre-show they allowed some local children’s basketball teams show of their dribbling skills and abilities.

 

After the game, they open the court to the fans. If you would like to, you can walk down and wait in line for a chance to meet your favorite players, grab a selfie with them and even get an autograph. My children were younger then most of the kids in attendance (loads of elementary aged kids) so we headed home after the game.

 

This show is perfect for children and adults alike. You will not be disappointed so be sure to pick up your tickets now!
