As a first time mom I thought that I could get away with having just a few nursing apparel and intimate items. Boy was I wrong! I quickly learned that I needed nursing bras, nursing sports bras, nursing night bras, nursing tank tops, nursing shirts, and the list goes on! Not only do I need each of these, I need multiples of them! Finding something that fits well and is comfy is my number one priority when looking for nursing intimates. I wear at least one of these items every hour of the day, I have to be comfortable in them. Belabumbum is a company that has met my nursing apparel necessities, and can meet yours too.

When I received my products I was instantly pleased with the packaging. I could tell they really took time to put my pieces together well and with care. My products were individually wrapped in plastic and nicely placed in a clean white package. The beautiful Belabumbum sticker on top was a cute, extra touch.
Ultra Smooth Nursing Sports Bra
Upon receiving the Ultra Smooth Nursing Sports Bra I was so excited to put it on and try nursing my son while wearing it. I wanted to know if it was really going to work well. After using it just a few times I quickly learned that this bra is perfect for nursing. The one handed clasp makes it very easy to use; and it allows for quick access to feeding.
This bra is the softest bra I’ve ever felt. Seriously, when I pulled it out of the packaging it was the first thing I noticed. The bra is true to its ultra smooth name.
Another feature that I like about this sports bra is that it has the capability to convert to a racerback. This is my number one priority when shopping for a sports bra. All my bras are racerback, it’s what I’m used to; so having the option to convert is great! I found that if I am exerc
ising I will use the hook and convert to 
a racerback, but if I’m wearing this bra as an everyday bra, I un-hook the straps. Doing this makes the bra feel less like a sports bra and more like a day to day bra.
As a small chested woman I appreciate the pad cups in the bra. These pads add to the comfort, fit, and quality of the bra. Giving options to use the cups or remove them allows you to choose to wear the bra whichever way is more comfortable.
Moon Goddess Robe
I never wear a robe and honestly I’ve never even owned a robe before, but I am so glad that I ordered one from Belabumbum. This Moon Goddess Robe is perfect for any woman – pregnant, nursing, or neither.
The super soft fabric is made of 100% prima cotton jersey; and it is so soft. I wear the robe every morning when I wake up, it’s the perfect thickness to keep the chill off. The sleeves are full length and the robe reaches my ankles, so my whole body is wrapped in the soft warmth.
On the back of the robe is a beautiful design that adds to the elegance of the black fabric. It is bejeweled with silver moon motifs in honor of the mother goddess who creates, nurtures, and loves”. The photo on the right is the moon design – very unique.
My favorite feature of the robe is the inner self-tie. This allows for the inner flap of the robe to be wrapped over to your hip and tied secure so it doesn’t slip open. If the outer belt comes untied the robe stays closed because of the inner tie.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner, and with the CDN kitchen measurement tools you can easily cook a feast to feed your family. Created in 1984, CDN is a family owned company that develops accurate, unique, and innovative thermometers and timers. Offering tools for the grill, oven, refrigerator, freezer, and deep fryer; you can find many uses for the thermometer. Made from stainless steel, the thermometer is durable and made to last.
The CDN duel thermometer gets its name because it has two probes that allow you to check temperature in multiple spots of the food. The probes are waterproof too, so that makes for a quick, easy clean up. I love that the thermometer has a magnet on the back so I can keep it on my fridge. It’s one less thing in my kitchen drawers!
The bluetooth capabilities with the thermometer are really awesome. After downloading their app – CDN-BT482 – just sync your phone to your thermometer and start cookin! The app is very easy to use; and I like how large the temperature is shown on the screen. While using the CDN app you can even pre-program the thermometer to cook your food according to what you’re making; that way when your steak [or whatever you’re cooking] gets to the correct temperature, you’ll know!

Buttons Diapers – Print Release

Cloth diaper mommies, this one’s for you! Buttons Diapers just released new prints and we had the privilege of getting a first look at one of them! Their new diaper print: Courage is perfect for your little one(s).
This diaper is so adorable and unique. It quickly became my husbands favorite diaper for our son to wear. We love the color green in our house so this green camouflage print is perfect. I really like how the camo print was designed. Often times I see camo print with large “splotches” of green and dark green; but not with this diaper. The Buttons courage print has many shades of green and the “splotches” are smaller and jagged, not a straight, wavy line.

When I received the diaper in the mail I was SO excited. Who doesn’t love getting fluff mail?! The diaper was wrapped in tissue and tied with a bow, a great touch that makes opening the package even more enjoyable; I’m a sucker for cute packaging. I even like how Buttons includes an instruction page with each of their diapers. Every diaper is wrapped around their thin cardboard instruction page, such a smart way to tell customers how to use the product! After un-snapping the diaper, tucking away the instruction sheet, and washing the cover, it was ready to go on baby’s bottom!

- All-in-2 –> The diaper consists of a shell (cover) and an insert. The cover is able to be used multiple times a day. When baby goes potty just change the insert out and use the cover again! This is so great because it lessens my laundry by a long shot! The cover has snaps to adjust the height of the diaper. These make it possible to use for babies from 9-35 pounds.

For all you moms out there with babies who are squirmy and crying while trying to take their temperature, fret no more! The Kinsa Smart Ear Thermometer is perfect for you and your family. With three options you can’t go wrong when choosing one of their pediatrician recommended thermometers.
Kinsa gives a great overview of what they strive for in these sentences taken from their website: “At Kinsa, we believe that healthcare products in the home should always accomplish two things: reassure and comfort the user, and provide context and guidance about what to do next. We’ve reimagined the world’s most common medical device to do both.” It is reassuring to know that the company has our families best interest in mind. They are looking to “track, treat, and stop the spread of illness.”
My favorite aspect of the smart ear thermometer is that it takes one second readings. Literally! All that’s needed of you is to turn on the thermometer, place the probe tip into the ear, press the button, and one second later you hear a “beep”. Thats it! I am so pleased with this feature.
The smart thermometer gets its name because it allows its users to download a free app – Kinsa Smart Thermometer & Health Tracker. To make life even more easier this app links [or plugs] the thermometer to your cell phone and gives you a temperature reading, tracks symptoms and offers guidance on what to do next reguarding the sickness. This is great because you have all the information you need in one place without needing to write anything down. The app isn’t required in order to use the smart ear thermometer; but if you purchase the smart stick you will need the app in order to get a reading.
I downloaded the app to my phone and tested the thermometer a few times and was super pleased. When opening the app, it gives great step by step on how to use it with the thermometer.
In the picture to the left you can see that I’m instructed to turn my thermometer on. It is also allowing me to choose which mode of reading I will use. [The app allows you to choose which area of the body you will take the temperature in. The kinsa smart ear thermometer only allows readings in the ear. If you want a thermometer with more options the kinsa smart stick might be good for you. This thermometer allows temperature readings in the mouth, under the arm, or rectally.]
When the app is synced to the thermometer the temperature appears on your phone AND on the thermometer. I enjoy this feature because on my phone the temperature is shown in large numbers and it is clear to see.
A feature of the kinsa app that I really like is the personal profiles that can be created. Use a different profile for each member of your family so you don’t get confused with who’s temperature is who’s. You can even color-code them too! This will come in handy when I (or you!) have more children.
Using the personal profiles is like having a file folder on your phone – you can store past temperature readings and symptoms; you can even upload photos! It gives a timeline of “events” to keep everything in order; the date, time, reading, mode, and symptoms.
Every family owns some sort of thermometer; why not invest in one that has lasting capabilities?! The smart thermometer won’t disappoint. With features like one second readings and an app to connect with, you’re sure to enjoy the ease that comes with the Kinsa smart thermometers.

Everyone wants their laundry to smell fresh and clean, am I right? Well friends, I’m here to tell you that Charlie’s soap will not disappoint. The first time I used Charlie’s soap I have to admit that I was skeptical. How could a soap clean so well AND not even have a scent? But, I pressed on and went for it. When the soap came in the mail I knew exactly what my first load would consist of – my kitchen towels! For the past couple of months our towels have had this smell on them that I just could not shake. I had washed them so many times trying to get the smell out, and I even tried using vinegar, and still no luck. But after using Charlie’s soap, the smell is gone! In fact, now there is no smell at all; they’re just clean.

As instructed on the packaging my first load with the soap consisted of one laundry packet and old rags. I washed them with hot water on high agitation, with the most water I could use (super plus). After that load I washed my kitchen towels three separate times, each time adding a new laundry packet. When all the loads were done I smelled my towels, and they were stink free! I was ecstatic (the things adults get excited about)!
The instructions are pretty straightforward, which I obviously like. Just throw one laundry packet into the washer BEFORE you put your clothes in, and you’re done; no measuring or scooping needed.
One aspect of my laundry washing that I was unsure about (and the packaging was not very clear on) was the size of load in comparison to the number of packets to use. I didn’t know whether I should add two packets to a super plus load, or just stick to one. In the end I did what the packaging instructed and use one packet, and my clothes came out clean and smell free. Seriously, I’m so impressed! If you have the opportunity to try out Charlie’s soap, do it!
