With Princesses & Pirates Go Potty Too I am now able to do all these things without fear of accidents or the lack of toilets. My daughter has been potty training for a while now. But those moments occur when she has to go “right now!” I have tried lugging her training potty around but doing that is crazy. Plus, then I live in constant fear of forgetting it or not having it. How It Works:
The potty works like this. It has a top and a bottom. There is no bowl inside. When my daughter checked out her new potty she quickly said, “my pee pee will go on the floor!” Haha, yes it would. The special part about the Princesses & Pirates Potty is that you use one-time disposable bags as a liner which act as the bowl. You are then able to simply toss the bag out in a trash can as you would a diaper. So smart! I have admittedly stopped at the side of the road and had my daughter pee in her regular training potty chair. Then I had to dump her urine in the grass…hoping no one would see me of course. Now you can be discrete and avoid such embarrassing situations. Can you imagine dumping your kids poop in the grass or in a mall parking lot…yeah…I think not.
Where to Use:
The beauty of this product is its longevity. While your child will use it when they are potty training it will also be used by older kids when there is no potty in sight. You may be at a park, a festival, a party, parking lot, vacation, road trip…you get the picture. Your child can easily go to the bathroom without worry. It doesn’t need to be sprayed out or washed after each use because everything go into the bag. Just keep it in your truck and you will be sure to use it.

They fit with amble room around the neck. They are large enough so that knotting them up after usage is easy and I don’t feel all up in the messy-mess. They are thick enough that I don’t worry about breakage but not so heavy that I feel wasteful about plastic. I love that the bags are big enough so that the plastic doesn’t rise up to touch my child bottom. That would throw off my game when I am trying to do my business and its the last thing I would need to happen to my potty sensitive child. All in all, I highly recommend this potty. I see no negatives at all in the product. With it being all plastic its super easy to wipe clean if need be. Which would be sanitary to pass on to a younger sibling or friend. Lastly, being fully plastic it is recyclable.

Putting a prefold on my wiggly/cant-stop-moving 16 month old proved to be a fun adventure. After a minute of trying I was able to get the prefold diaper properly on him. I think he really loved the feel. It was simple and soft. My son as super thin legs. I was able to roll the fabric around his legs up. Typically people use a cover over a prefold. This helps keep everything in…ya know…everything.
You can use diaper pins to keep a prefold on or a more modern fastener. I prefer the modern version as I get nervous with pins and my cant-keep-still-child.
I love that these are super easy to wash and they can go into the dryer. The fast and easy cleaning cycle is a huge selling point.
Cloth-eez Workhorse diapers are like a fitted version of a prefold. You get soft, absorbent, 100% chlorine free cotton in a fitted diaper. It has all the benefits of a prefold but with the convenience of being fitted.

This is the coolest and most interesting liner I have experienced yet. It is made of a special fleece. It keeps you child feeling dry longer. This is the product to get if you are transitioning from disposable to cloth!

I have yet to have the courage to hold my son down to get the pins in. I did use the snappi few times now with great ease. I was reluctant to believe it would really hold onto the diaper. Or that it would stay on once my son was running around. It did! With no issues. I am very pleased with snappi.

You can place a diaper on a baby with fasteners then place the cover over it OR you can tri-fold the prefold diaper and place inside the cover (sorta like how you would stuff a pocket diaper but minus the pocket part). Either way works. It is a personal preferance really.

What makes The Little Bee Co diapers unique is the front elastic. This allows a more snug fit. I think this feature is especially useful for little boys. Boys pee up, it happens. The elastic helps keep things in check. I really have grown to love this feature.

Children love bath time. Splashing, playing, and just relaxing in the water. At some point, we have to introduce the showerhead. It is so high up there. So far away! It’s scary! It can be intimidating at the best of times, let alone when the showerhead starts dripping water without it being turned on. Even I don’t like that sound. Although it’s probably because I know that there is something wrong, and one of the only ways to resolve it would be to contact a local plumber so the problem can get sorted quickly and efficiently. Luckily, this has never happened yet, and I hope it doesn’t start doing it. I never really considered how scary this could be for children until the time came for me to introduce them to the shower. My kids get nervous when the water comes out of the showerhead at the force it does. Although, most of us adults love a powerful showerhead, and will even hire professionals, like Morris Jenkins, to install them for us, for a child the idea of water being sprayed heavily over their face is pretty scary. It’s intimidating to them. This is no longer an issue for us now that we use a Rubber Duckie & Friends Shower Wand.

There are limited installation instructions with the Shower Wand, however, it is not too difficult to install. Be sure when you unscrew the caps on the hose that you take note of the position of the washers and that they don’t fall out. They are loose. It matters what direction it is installed as to the pressure which the water flows.
Both my kids (ages 1 and 2) are now obsessed with their “hippo shower”(that is what they coined it in our house). Getting clean was always fun in our house, now its just a special treat to take turns holding the shower wand. My kids both take swim lessons and are very confident swimmers, but the shower head always intimidated them. Now, they are thrilled to put it over their heads and help rinse their own hair. I highly recommend the Rubber Duckie & Friends Shower Wands. Its a great birthday gift for any kid. Something fun and different for the child who has everything.
Just make sure that you have something like these glass shower doors installed, or at least a shower curtain, as sometimes you might find that your kids point the shower wand outside the bathtub and you’ll get water everywhere. Most people will have a shower curtain anyway, but it was just a passing thought that I had. Besides that though, these Rubber Duckie & Friends Shower Wands are totally worth it.
