Mama’s 1st Delivery
For my first delivery I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I wanted to see how they package my items varying from produce to proteins to non perishables.
Here is what I ordered:

My delivery came in 2 boxes. The first box contained all of my proteins. The meat was sealed tightly for my safety and was fully frozen. The produce and non perishable candy was in the second box. They both contained a perfect amount of insulation. With paper, dry ice and air padding, nothing was damaged or bruised. My shipment was later on the route and I received it around 5 pm. My meat was showing no signs of being thawed. I am highly impressed.

Instructions:
1. Freeze inner bowl for 12+ hours
2. Pour in 5 fl. oz. of chilled ice cream mix
3. Stir, scrape, and add toppings once the ice cream begins to form
4. Use silicone edge of bowl to clean spoon while making ice cream
5. For hard ice cream put unit back in freezer for 10-20 additional minutes after soft serve has formed
This ice cream maker is extremely versatile. You have to ability to know each ingredient you put into your ice cream. No need to worry about odd fillers and preservatives. I like knowing what I am putting in my families bellies. With Zoku, I can rest assured knowing they are being filled with yummy goodness without all the GMO’s and unpronounceable words in some of those name brand ice creams at the grocer.
The only downside to this product is its size. While a single serving is great for a quick yummy treat, when you have a family of 4 it doesn’t make enough for the while family to enjoy. I would like to see them come out with a larger version so that you can ensure that the whole family gets to experience the joy of home made instant ice cream.
How to make Strawberry Ice Cream in a Zoku Ice Cream Maker
I let mine sit in the freezer for 5 minutes. Took it out and scraped the frozen parts away from the sides. This allows the center mixture to now touch the cup and begin to freeze. Placed back into freezer for 5 more minutes. Then did the side scrapping again. I ate dinner and when I went back it was the exact thickness I prefer. You can let it sit longer for harder ice cream and eat sooner for more creamy ice cream.

When my 2 year old saw this Ball, still in the packaging, sitting on my dining room table she instantly said, “Mom! Can I have that ball?!” The plush ball instantly calls out to children due to its simple yet stimulating design. The colors are bright but not overwhelming. My 2 children both cannot get enough of this ball. There are 4 faces on the ball featuring only eyes. These are the 4 areas which light up when activated. How Things Work
Add your favorite loose tea or tea bags to the reusable filter. Removable water tank can be filled directly at the sink for convenience. Fill the glass pitcher with ice to the ice level marking on the pitcher prior to brewing, you could use an ice maker from here to make this task easier. You can also add fresh or frozen fruit before or after brewing for a refreshing tea blend. Adjust the brew strength with the slide on the front of the machine, for stronger tasting tea slide lever to the right. Serve iced tea directly from the pitcher that can also be stored in the refrigerator after brewing. A recipe book with 18 delicious recipes is included, with more recipes on the Capresso blog (www.capressoblog.com).
The Capresso Iced Tea Maker is also perfect for iced coffee beverages, however it is recommended to use a separate filter for coffee so there is no flavor transfer. Additional filters and pitchers are available for purchase.

1 cup frozen raspberries
1/4 cup of sugar
6 peppermint tea bags
Add raspberries to the pitcher plus sweetener if desired. You can use pure stevia as an alternative to sweetener if you’re trying to avoid the extra calories or reduce your sugar intake. The pure stevia can also help with your dental health too. Fill the pitcher with ice up to the ice level marker. Place pitcher in machine. Please tea bags in the brew basket and close lid. Turn on machine and let brew. After brewing, pour tea into ice-filled glasses. Enjoy!
Pear Sweetened Iced Tea
1 can of sliced pears in juice
2 family size Lipton tea bags
Sweetener
Add sliced pears, juices from can, and sweetener to pitcher. Fill pitcher with ice up to the ice level marker. Place pitcher in machine. Place tea bags into the brew basket and close lid. Turn on machine and let brew. After brewing, pour tea into ice-filled glasses.

When we took it out of the packaging my husband was beyond thrilled. It was so easy to unpack! Typically with electronics and all things baby it takes 5 hours (okay I am exaggerating) to get out of the packaging. This monitor is secured in there safely but not so over the top that you need a nap after removing from the box.
Installation:
My husband had no issue installing this unit. The instructions were so simple and straight forward. No technical degree required 😉
Use:
The parent unit supports up to four total cameras to be viewed from one parent unit. Viewing modes include single view, dual view, and quad view split screen to view up to 4 rooms at the same time. I have one video monitor, so I am only going to be talking about the single screen option
I love that the temperature is clearly displayed on the parent unit. As most of us know, to help lower the risk of SIDS, a child’s room should be kept between 68 to 72 degrees. I am able to see if it is too hot or too cold in my babies room. The parent unit features a temperature alert. You can set it so that you will be notified when the monitored room temperature drops or reaches to a certain set point.
Having infrared LED in the monitor allows a clear picture when he is sleeping. I love being able to clearly see his face and that he is breathing when I am in the other room. Having the color feature makes it so much more fun to use. When lights are off and night vision is being used the screen will only project black & white. The best feature, in my opinion, is the tilt feature. You can turn the video unit in so many angels and directions that I can make sure I get the exact angle needed to see my child in my room. So many video monitors are stand still and do not offer this feature. Then you may not get a full view of the crib/desired area. The VTech VM321 gives way more versatility to the user. Hands down I would recommend this system to any parent.
The parent unit can be charged (charger included) and used hands free. It will need 4 AA batteries. I love that you can have it charged by the wall but also have the battery back up in case you forget and it runs low. You can set the sensitivity of sound, turning up and down the sensitivity of sounds coming from the monitored room. It is available in English, French and Spanish. Finally, it also allows you to have the monitor unit play lullabies in the monitored room. There are 5 lullabies to choose from. It will play on repeat for approximately 20 minutes.
