We slammed on some Country Archer Jerky and here are our main thoughts – the beef was outstanding! The best had to be the Teriyaki & Sriracha. You read that right, real American made Jerky flavored with our favorite ‘kick-it-up-a-notch’ hot sauce Sriracha. While we did like the Turkey Jerky we had a harder time tasting the added flavors to the Hickory, this may have just been due to it being a leaner meat. We loved the texture and flavor of the turkey, don’t get us wrong, but we longed for just a little bit more kick in the mouth while eating the Hickory – on the flip side, the Turkey Honey Dijon was OUTSTANDING! The flavor was spot on and we ate the whole bag pretty fast, because it was just that great. For sure try out this flavor!
All the Country Archer meats were tender! No hard to chew, sore jaws when eating their jerky. It was the perfect balance of chew you want in a jerky but not so much that you feel like its gum in your mouth. They obtain this by using all natural 100% Grass-Fed beef and passing on the nitrates.
