Kushies is one of my favorite brands. They are a Canadian company that also manufactures their products here in North America. Their high standards allows them to make some of the highest quality baby and children products available today. From clothing and diapers to bedding and toys, they are sure to carry the items you desire. For over 50 years we have had the pleasure of buying quality products from Kushies. Being that they are worker friendly environment, I am sure we will be buying from them for the next 50 years as well.

Mama’s Experience

Bath toys and accessories are a staple in most all child-friendly homes. My kids don’t ‘need’ toys in the tub. They can play with the water and be happy as a clam, but they desire to play with squirty toys in during this fun wet playtime. I love allowing them to get ‘messy’ in the water; splashing, squirting, giggling…just having a ball.

Moon Fish – Jumbo Squirter

This is my daughters obsession currently. She lovingly names this toy her “Squeekers” and requests him during every bath. This is the perfect squirter toy. It’s large enough of a toddler to confidently fill with water. Typically smaller squirt toys can be hard for the child to squeeze enough underwater and get filled with water, let a lone strong enough to squirt out the water. The mouth of Moon Fish is how the water enters and exits. Having a larger hole than most squirters which makes this such an easy to use toy. I love that its easy to empty when bath time is over.

Vroom Muddy CarSquirter Set

This is the most perfect bath toy for a little car lover. My son is obsessed with all forms of transportation, which of course includes cars. Finding a car bath toy is like finding solid gold. Animals are fun but this is unique. Each car has muddy splotches for their hard day of playing (much like my children). They ‘magically’ change color when wet which adds another level of excitement to the toy. It makes them appear ‘more clean’. Obviously the mud is still visible, but it does give the illusion that you are making the car clean but placing it in warm water. If you know of a car lover, this toy is a must.

Bath Mat & Floater Set – Owl

This owl bath mat is literally the perfect size. Its oval shapes allows it to fit right in to any sized or shaped tub. My tub is very average in size. Not too small, but not over-sized by any means. It comes rolled up along with their owl toys in a cylinder container. I was shocked at how it nicely suctioned to the tub floor after having been in a rolled up position for so long. I was expecting to have to push and manipulate it for a while to get it to lay correctly. I mean I have gone through my fair share of bath mats with my 2 kids. My favorite feature of this mat is how its clear! I can see the tiny suction cups underneath. I am a normal parent. I can forget to pull up my mat and wipe it off. When a mat is not cleaned often or properly mold will begin to grow under that mat. This is water you kids are squirting in your face and drinking merrily as they play. Gag! By using this clear mat you no longer need to worry about forgetting to clean it, because it will remain in view!

The 3 little owl squirters that come with this set are just so cute. They are fun and colorful which adds that little bit of whimsy you look for in a bath toy.

Bath Squirters – Swim To Shore

What bath is complete without little fishes?! These little fishes are perfect for tiny hands and imaginations. My children love to see them swim through the water and bob up and down. I love that they have pronounced mouths which make squirting that much more fun. We practice the “I Spy” game most times when bathing. I work with the kids on colors, shapes and other topics. These are great for I Spy because they have multiple colors and each has a different identifying shape on its side. Who says bath time cant be educations too?

Mama’s Experience

The first time we used our bubble machine was at my son’s 2nd birthday party. We planned on using it as a fun side thrill to the main party. It was beyond fun. Not only did the children think this machine was the best thing ever, but the adults got into the fun as well. This is not your average toddler sized bubble machine. This is a real high quality piece of equipment. I bought a huge container of bubbles from a local big box store that worked perfectly in the machine.

Due to its size, I choose to put it closer to a wall in one section of the party room. I didn’t expect the power that truly comes from this machine. It was not over powerful but way stronger than we expected.  The fluid tank for the bubbles is easily removed and has an adjustable handle to make handling super easy. This makes cleaning the tank easy as pie. You will want to clean the tank every so often to keep it clean and running at it’s best performance level. I was super busy setting up the party and had a friend get the machine out of the box and set it up. He said it was super easy to set up. Not complicated at all which is great! When kids know bubbles are coming there is no patience involved. These kids didn’t have to wait long to be in a bubble wonderland.

If this machine is for your business or home and you want to secure it to a wall it comes with a bracket set.  This allows you to have it secured to the wall or ceiling to enhance the party experience. No matter where the unit it placed you need to make sure that the intake ports are not blocked. This is very important for your safety and the safety of the machine.

The casing is a lightweight material case is very durable and perfect for indoor or outdoor use. We plan on using our bubble machine outside a ton this summer while playing in the yard, the driveway and for BBQ parties. Then on rainy days we be spice up our afternoons with an exciting bubble party in the living room. This bubble machine is perfect for everyone and I highly suggest grabbing one today.

1Byone is a great company to buy from. I was so impressed by the high quality products I received. They are sleek in design, easy to use and super ‘now’. Wireless headsets are all the rage for a few reasons. People love to talk on the phone hands free. We have been using wired headsets for ages now and its time to stop working like a caveman. With 1Byone’s Wireless Bluetooth Headset you can walk or run without all those messy wires. With clear sound you can hear what you are listening to, whether is a phone call or music and the other end of the phone can actually hear you back! And they’re a perfect choice for small ears. My many speakers are sub-par now a days. 1Byone made sure their speaker were fully functional so we wouldn’t have to worry about this set back.

These headphones are the newest and most popular design. They are specially designed to fit in your ear and wrap around inside to stay put. Most earbuds are just the buds and have the problem of falling out. When you are running or working out (or reaching into a file cabinet at the office) these type of bud often fall out and disrupt your activity. At first I was unsure as to how to place the ear bugs and wrap around in my ear. I took a look at the photo on the cover as well as in the manual and was able to easily figure out how to place it properly and safely in my ear. My husband had the natural intuition on how to properly place the earphones in/around your ears. But once you got it, its like riding a bike and is very natural.

Toddler-Friendly Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins

Toddlers love to help in the kitchen. Finding recipes that are easy for them to help, healthy and delicious are just what every parent is looking for. This recipe hits all points: easy, delicious and healthy! It’s a win/win/win!

The real key to this recipe is the use of Happy Quick Oats by Bakery On Main. They are super tasty and packed with fiber which remaining certified gluten-free and non-GMO.

Yields: 12 muffins

Ingredients:

• 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup Happy Quick Oats (quick-cooking oats)
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 1 cup (8 ounces) plain yogurt (can also use Greek plain)
• 1/4 cup butter, melted
• 1 cup fresh blueberries

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, mix the first 8 ingredients (the dry ingredients which includes the brown sugar).

In a 2nd bowl, mix the last 3 ingredients (the wet ingredients).

Combine the two mixtures together in the larger bowl.

Carefully fold in the blueberries. I fold them in by hand as not to pop them all. The mixture will feel more dry than a normal muffin mix. More like a cookie dough. This is okay! Do not add any liquids to mixture. Roll them into balls and softly press the muffin mix into muffin liners (or spray your muffin tin with non stick spray or butter). Fill the liners about 1/2 way to 3/4 of the way full.

Bake at 410° F for 18 minutes.

Remove from muffin baking tin and let cool for several minutes.
