Father’s Day is approaching and us wives and daughters are thinking of useful but fun gift ideas.

Does he need more socks? Does he really want another tie?

What are the things he will really use and enjoy? Beer, Coffee, Cigars, Food! These are what wins a man’s heart

The most simply way to find the services you want are through Clubs of America. They offer beer, wine, flowers, cigar, fruit, coffee, chocolate and pizza subscriptions – they the added bonus of being able to MIX them up!!

Mix Your Clubs is an amazing feature I have never seen before. You can select how many months service you want, then mix up which types of boxes you want. Start with beer, switch to fruit then hop over to cigars. Or, if they’re trying to quit smoking, you could get them some extra strong, Swedish snus by Odens instead.

If you are going to be treating any of the men in your life to a cigar subscription, then just make sure that they have a cigar cutter to enjoy their favorite cigars with ease! Accordingly, you can learn more about cigar cutters by researching a few different cigar cutter (review, brands) online.

Ultimately, all of this makes Clubs of America a truly customer based business with your satisfaction a top priority.

Beer of the Month Club

Each month you would receive 12 bottles of rare craft beer with 4 different varieties. Each shipment contains a great write up – the Beer Expeditions monthly newsletter subscription. It will give you great information on the fresh beer you received this month for your Beer of the Month Club subscription as well information on the featured breweries.

All of our featured microbrews for our Beer of the Month Club are traditionally brewed from only all natural ingredients: barley, hops, yeast and water. Absolutely NO chemicals, corn, rice or preservatives are used in these beers. Only the best beer is hand-selected for our members of the Beer Club!

We were very impressed with how it was delivered. It was packaged so that none of the bottles were touching, to avoid crash breakage. But without all those annoying foam peanuts or plastic parts. The top slide right off and the 12 bottles were standing there perfectly.

Each box will come with a Beer Expedition Newsletter. This newsletter is jam packed with information about each of the beers and breweries in this particular box.

The Beer of the Month Club keeps with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516 – which means all their features micro brews are traditionally brewed from only all natural ingredients: barley, hops, yeast and water. Absolutely no chemicals, corn, rice or preservatives are used in these beers.

The month which MamatheFox received beer it come from 2 breweries, Carson’s Brewery (RIPA Red IPA & Red Dawn Amber Wheat Ale) and Mt. Carmel Brewery (Coffee Brown Ale & Hibiscus Blueberry Blonde Ale).

They give you a variety of flavors and styles in each shipment, allowing you to find the perfect beers for you.

Wine of the Month Club

The packaging for shipment of the wine box was stellar! I was highly impressed with the custom cut packaging, allowing each of the 3 bottles to be safely shipped, without any worries about the bottles touching or breaking turning transit.

With the Wine of the Month Club, each month you will receive 3 premium bottles of wine.

Again, a wonderful newsletter is included with the box titles “Wines Expeditions” giving us tons of fun information about wine in general, like paring and flavors. However, the most beneficial parts are the ones where it talks about the 3 bottles of wine which you received.

This month they shipped out :

  1. Viognier-Chardonnay from the Estampa Family Estate (2017 white). This bottle was from Chili and had 90% Viognier grape and 10% Chardonnay.
  2. Red Rhine – Pinotage. The components are 100% Pinotage – which is a hybrid of Pinot Noir and Cinsault grapes.
  3. Yapa Carmenère 2014 – From Chili and pairs well with beef.

Coffee of the Month Club

Each month with the Coffee of the Month Club, you will receive 2 bags of coffee. You have the option of requesting ground beans or whole beans.

Coffee lovers can tell you that there is a large difference in the taste of beans. The regions which they are grown, how they are grown, how they are roasted and even how they are handled.

This months shipment contained bags from Mexico and Nicaragua.

Of course, you get the very helpful Coffee Expeditions newsletter with each shipment.

The beans from Mexico were SHG EP Topacio – an American Roast. They are grown by small producers and hand-pulp their coffee and ferment it in little tanks before sun-drying the beans. These beans are grown in volcanic soil, with a grea combination of sunshine, temperature and precipitation – all essential for growing Strictly High Grown coffee.

The beans from Nicaragua are Tierra Madre – a Vienna Roast.

This coffee is produced exclusively by women in Jinotega – who all receive a premium pay based on their high quality coffee. This Arabica coffee presents flavors of caramel, toffee and notes of tangerine. Its sweet and fruity aroma is perfect for summer and fall mornings.

Empatia Coffee

Empatia – the coffee that pours back

Did you know that most coffee farmers do not turn a profit? In countries like Columbia, where over 10% of the countries population is employed by the 550,000 coffee bean farms are struggling to turn a profit due to ever increasing production costs and low market prices.Hence we suggest following people’s minds. I mean following the recent trends that people actually love. If you understand the cafe market report then you’ll understand what people want.  Empatia, a new coffee bean company, is striving to help out the everyday bean farmers in these struggling areas.

According to the International Coffee Organization (ICO), if you factor in depreciation of farm assets “there were only four crop years in the ten-year period [2006-2015] in which total profits were greater than or equal to zero.”(Assessing the economic sustainability of coffee growing – ICO, Sep 2016)

There may not be a solution that is obtainable right now, but we can take great strides in moving forward to fixing this issue. Empatia Coffee is giving back 15% of their profits to the farmers they work with in addition to paying premiums for our beans in excess of Fair Trade prices.

As a daily coffee drinker, I have come to appreciate the fresh ground beans turned into caffeinated bliss. Of course, the coffee brewing process is enhanced by using the best grind and brew coffee maker. After all, it’s no secret that the equipment and ingredients you use have an impact on the final product, especially where coffee is concerned. Even if you’re someone who is looking to Make your morning coffee healthier, you can still make a great drink with just the type of coffee beans you use in it. I love taking that moment just to sip and breath in a new day. With 2 small children, I need to make the most of my time and that includes the choices I make. I would rather have an enjoyable, deep flavored cup of coffee over a low cost, grainy cup of coffee. Obviously, over the years I have experimented with different types of coffee to know my preference and what makes coffee good. Looking into wholesale cbd coffee taught me a lot about the different ingredients that can be filtered into coffee and the tastes it can give. Nowadays I’m set on what I like, but I like to think of myself as a bit of a coffee fan.

Monthly Empatia will offer a new bag of beans that features a different and exciting flavor profile. This subscription services (or one-time purchase) gives you the chance to try a different coffee from varying places around the globe. The beans are NOT flavor infused, but instead are treated and grown in such a way that the natural aromas and flavors will be bold enough for you to taste. The month that MamatheFox received was the Finca La Cabaña – from Sevilla, Valle Del Cauca in Columbia. These beans were amazing! Opening the bag you could smell how fresh and clean they were, as if they were roasted that morning. I ground some and made my first pot. My husband, who doesn’t typically drink coffee, even had to try a cup. He loved the flavor and found it very soothing. I cannot say enough nice things about Empatia Coffee. If you know a coffee lover, or are one yourself, so yourself a favor and try out at least 1 month worth of beans. This makes a perfect gift for family and friends.

Need that end of school year gift for teacher – give them a subscription to Empatia!

When you receive a monthly subscription box (shown above) from Empatia, you will also be sent a 2-sided colored card featuring the coffee bean farmer that will receive some of the 15% give back funds. It is so welcoming and reassuring to see the face of the person who will benefit from your purchase. With additional facts about the farm, the farmer and a peek into their lives. It also includes details about the beans you are brewing, such as the elevation which it was grown, how it was treated (dried/roasted) and how large their farm is. When you drink your lovely cup or coffee or espresso you can feel a connection and an appreciation I have not found in other coffee’s.

Capresso Infinity Conical Burr Grinder

I need my coffee! I am a mother who struggles in the morning. That cup of coffee, shot of espresso or warm cappuccino is what gets my brain working and my feet moving. If I dont have a lovely jolt of caffeine, I can often become cranky and slow which is not good for anyone really. I have been using Capresso espresso and coffee machines for years now and love everything thought about them. I am a big fan of French Press coffee, but it takes more work to get it right. Anyone using a French Press really needs to check out this article on Creating the Best French Press Coffee by ChefSteps. I like these machines because of how easy they are to use. But what makes a cup of coffee stand out is freshly ground beans! When a bean is ground just before you brew it, it gives it a more bold and true flavor. Pre-ground coffee will work in a pinch, but for the real coffee lover, you can taste the difference in a bean that was ground that day and the bean that was ground a few months ago.

By grinding your own coffee, you can have the coffee house feel in your own kitchen. It’s is easy to do and makes such a difference that there is no reason for you not to try to grind your own. If you’re thinking about buying a coffee grinder, these espresso grinders are worth a look. I typically grind several days worth of coffee at a time, because I don’t have the counter space to keep the grinder out for daily use. If you love to spice things up and try new beans you should consider trying a coffee delivery service. It is an easy way to get coffee delivered to your home.

Capresso Infinity Conical Burr provides the widest range of precision grinding for every type of brewing method from Turkish, espresso, drip coffee, French press, pour-over brewers and percolators.

I was so glad to find out that this coffee grinder is super easy to use, but has more functionality than most other grinders. The Conical Burr can grind your coffee in whatever form you need. From Turkish (very thin/finely ground) to drip (medium, your standard coffee maker) to French Press (larger grind/thicker) you are able to get the perfect texture you desire. I use an espresso machine, a standard coffee and a peculator, which all 3 require different grind settings. Having this grinder on hand has given me the opportunity to use the same bag of coffee in all three machines. If you use the large grinders found in some grocery stores, you are mixing your beans with goodness knows what else. With the help of a coffee press, you can make coffee to your choice whether it is light or strong. By having a personal machine you can keep it as clean as you want with the satisfaction of knowing what has gone into and out of that device.

Be sure to read the user manual before use! I couldn’t figure it out on my own, but once I took a peek at the instructions I could use the machine with ease. Be sure NEVER to put water inside the machine to clean it. The machine is a closed unit and cannot be rinsed with water. It does come with a brush that you may use to dust it out. I shake mine out upside down above my sink or trash can, then dust out with the provided brush after each use. If you let old grinds sit inside of it, they turn stale and just gross. Be sure to maintain your machine after each use and putting it away.

Capresso Stainless Steel Espresso & Cappuccino Machine

Capresso never fails when it comes to coffee. They understand how to get the most out of each bean and how to get your taste buds dancing. Their EC PRO Espresso & Cappuccino Machine is no different than that other high quality machines I have used, and it is a must have for your home or office. It is not far off being commercial standard, like the machines sold by Nella, worthy of use in an actual coffeshop or restaurant.

This easy to use EC PRO Espresso & Cappuccino Machine is more affordable than any other machine I have seen, but still has the super high quality parts that make the coffee beans stand out. Capresso includes some top of the line features in this model that helps it stand out in a line of other espresso machines out there. It is one to consider when looking for a Super Automatic vs. Automatic Espresso Machine, or any other kind out there. Here are some of my favorite features of this machine:

  • Includes two espresso filters; one for convenience, one for control; choose the one that’s right for you
  • The double spout espresso filter creates an optimal brew, quickly and easily; brews 1 or 2 espressos at a time
  • The bottomless espresso filter lets you brew barista style and perfect your technique
  • Advanced pump boiler maintains a reservoir of hot water at the perfect temperature for faster and more consistent results
  • State-of-the-art boiler increases brewing pressure and temperature stability
  • 15 bar pump provides optimal pressure for rich crema, the thin layer of foam that marks a perfectly brewed espresso
  • Commercial-style power frother for perfectly foamed or steamed milk for delicious cappuccinos and lattes
  • Heavy-duty stainless steel construction
  • 42-oz, removable water container
  • Large, integrated cup warming tray
  • Indicator lights for “Off/On” and “Coffee/Steam”
  • Easy-to-clean removable stainless steel drip tray
  • Coffee scoop/tamper included

Stylish die-cast housing and powerful performance in a compact design. The EC PRO Espresso & Cappuccino Machine is the perfect way to brew all your favorite barista specialties at home.

This machine was really made with the household consumer in mind. Most people would have to learn how to begin using milk frother with something like this, but it comes included here which is awesome. This machine is easy for a beginner to use, but yields the quality you would expect from a local high end coffee house. When you make espresso you need to be sure to use a more finely ground coffee. This is to get the most out of the bean when the water pressure is extracting the flavors. If you use a thicker or more course ground bean you will not get quite the rich outcome. However, this machine was made with the regular household in mind. This mean you can use average size ground beans (what you would find in a bag of pre-ground coffee beans) in this espresso machine. I would still recommend a more finely ground bean, but if you are in a pinch and ran out of espresso grounds, you can use your standard coffee without fear of hurting the machine or getting a sub-par cappuccino. Capresso SG220 12-Cup Coffee Maker

logo

Capresso has never let me down. I have been using their products for years now and each and every item I have tried has been above the bar. They know their audience so well and only make products that are easy to use, easy to clean and gorgeous in any kitchen. They’re an example of a great brand, one that would be welcome on sites like Greatcoffeebrewers.com that show some of the best options on the market for coffee lovers!

One of Capresso’s newest models is the SG220 – a 12-cup coffee maker that is perfect for any user. This coffee maker not only doesn’t require a coffee filter (has a reusable one that comes with the machine) but also has a super easy-to-set timer that even the non-technical grandma would be able to figure out. With a few easy to push buttons your automatic coffee timer will be set and ready to brew when you want it to. I love that the buttons are large enough so that you are not accidentally hitting 2 at the same time. This is often a problem with other machine. They make the buttons so small that you cannot read them clearly or you hit multiple buttons due to them being so close together. I am very happy with Capresso’s newest button set up.

sg220-buttonsIt also features an automatic 2-hour shut off timer! You never have to worry when you leave your house “did I leave the coffee pot on?” Even when I am at home with my kids, I often have forgotten about my coffee maker as the daily grind sets in. I start running around cleaning up breakfast, helping my kids with projects and doing laundry. Next thing I know its 11 am and I need to get lunch ready. I glance over at my coffee pot, which now has automatically turned off hours ago. I never have to worry about scorching my pot with old coffee that was left in there heated for hours, just as I don’t have to wonder how long does coffee last as I get through it so fast! This feature really helps save your glass brewing pot and lengthens its lifespan (and my elbow grease for washes). I’m super glad that I have it. I do have some friends who have the ninja coffee bar, and they love that option, but for me this is perfect.

This sleek machine is stainless steel with black accents, allowing it to match any kitchen setting. Besides being beautiful its so easy to clean. No messy disposable coffee filters needed! If you’re still not sold on this stainless steel number, you could check out this post on why stainless steel is the best option – Easylivingmom: Why you should buy Stainless Steel Coffee Makers. The Capresso SG220 has a reusable Goldtone filter that washes easily and helps eliminate waste and saves you money! With 2 internal baskets (one that holds the Goldtone filter and one that sets into the upper part of the machine) it keeps grinds out of your coffee. I tried brewing a finer grinned bean in this machine, seeing if it will get through into my pot but much to my surprise it stayed put int he filter and not a ground made it into my cup! This is such a wonderful feature.

Capresso Perk Review

Capresso PerkYou guys know that I’m a massive coffee lover. I drink a cup every morning and then a few more during the day depending on how long my day is. I don’t think there’s anything better than having a good cup of coffee from A Good 4 Cup Coffee Maker, first thing in the morning. And I don’t like just any nstant coffee, I like high-quality products that taste amazing. This is why Capresso is my go-to coffee and tea machine company. They always hit the mark with each product they release. My current favorite is their Capresso 12-Cup Perk. This is a coffee maker that percolates your coffee to release deep, rich flavors.

The Capresso Perk is a full-sized, 12-cup coffee maker and is just what every home needs. I dislike the loss of my counter space. I have limited room in my modest kitchen and need to really take advantage of minimalist-like tactics. The Capresso Perk is perfect for smaller kitchens. You can make you coffee in the Perk anywhere in your home and easily store it away in a cupboard or under a counter when not in use. When brewing it needs to stay still, kept on a flat surface, and remained plugged in. It also needs to remain plugged in when you want to keep the machine on and the coffee warm.

My favorite feature of this machine is the clear top, which allows you to see the coffee being peculated! Watching it splash and move around inside the lid is fun and lets you know that its almost time to get your caffeine on! The biggest tip I have for this machine is to wet the coffee grind basket before you put in your ground beans. This will help keep them from falling through the filter and getting into the water/coffee storage area. Another tip, when filling the filter basket with the coffee grinds, place you finger over the perk tube. This will help to stop grinds getting into your water/coffee.

Using Capresso Perk

I love how easy this machine is to use. How I don’t have to leave it on my counter all the time. I can bring it to a party or event and make coffee on-to-go with such ease. Now when people want coffee at a party hall we rent I don’t have to make a trip to a donut shop for a box of coffee or pack up a big table top coffee maker.

Takes Up Less Precious Counter Space

I love that this comes with a travel mug. I love a nice steel thermal mug. It was something I looked for when reading through Kaffeevollautomat Test – or coffee machine tests – online. See, I drink at least 1 cup of coffee a day. Occasionally more if my kids let me get the 1st one down before lunch. My husband rarely drinks coffee. This is person for a 1 person coffee drinking home. Why waste all that precious counter space with a big coffee maker when you only need 1 cup anyways? I mean, I have almost every type of coffee known to man in my kitchen – and I store it damn well already!

Mama’s Experience

PicMonkey Collage

I am so happy with this personal coffee maker. Being the only one who drinks coffee on a daily bases in my house, there is no reason for a full size coffee maker. Some of the other personal coffee makers available today are so big! I am by no means a minimalist but I do love extra counter space. I have enough clutter in my house thank you very much. Hypothetically, If I were to invest in a bigger coffee machine and I was looking for the absolute best quality coffee I could get, I’d look into something similar to what Iron and Fire (www.ironandfire.co.uk) provide. But I am super happy with what I have.

I am so excited that I can use my own person ground coffee in a personal maker without hassle. Other makes have a special container you have to load the loose grounds into then insert into the machine. Making a cup of coffee has to be super fast with my 2 little ones or I miss my window. Life is too crazy for all that prepping. With the Capresso On-The-Go Personal Coffee Maker I can simply scoop a tablespoon (or however much I desire) into the coffee basket. I pour my coffee cup worth of water into the water reservoir and bam! I got rockin coffee. *slurps coffee* Let’s get caffeinated and kick this days butt.
